Elastomeric Coatings
A highly elastic protective coating that stretches and recovers with the structure beneath it, rather than cracking under stress.

What it is
Elastomeric coatings are polymer-based protective coatings with a high degree of elasticity, able to stretch significantly and return to their original form. This makes them well suited to surfaces that experience thermal movement or minor structural flexing.
How it works
The coating is applied in multiple layers over a prepared surface, typically by roller or spray, building up a continuous elastic film. As the substrate expands and contracts with temperature, the coating stretches with it rather than cracking, maintaining a continuous barrier against rain ingress.
When it's used
- Exterior walls facing direct rain and sun exposure
- Balcony slabs and parapets subject to thermal movement
- Surfaces with fine, non-structural hairline cracking
Advantages
- High flexibility accommodates minor structural movement without cracking
- Provides both waterproofing and a protective, weather-resistant finish
- Available in a range of finishes for exposed, visible surfaces
